Hi there, thanks so much to all of you that joined the Fleur Class!

How is your halloween weekend going? My kids don't have trick or treat until Sunday night, I wish it was tonight like most people!!

I just finished adding some new posts on the workshop blog with more ideas on what to do with all of these flowers that you are making... I will be adding more tomorrow too!

 

I added a new flower design to the class today... that makes 3 styles to create which are all no sew! love that.

 

 Isn't this headband pretty? I think these would make the best gifts! I am going to make one for my niece for her 1st birthday coming up soon.

 

I finished the tutorial on this necklace... which I love...

Pretty Fabric Fleurs ~ Online Workshop

 

Hi! Today I am opening a NEW online class! Really excited about this one! ( I think I say that every time though... lol) I really enjoy offering online classes and I try hard to offer unique & original ones ... so right now is one of those times when I am feeling very creative in a whole new way... I love it when that happens!

This class is called Pretty Fabric Fleurs.. and during this online class I will share step by step how to create these gorgeous fabric flowers that are so trendy right now! The best part... NO SEW!!

Now you can create your own embellished tees, sweaters, jewelry, pillows, headbands, bracelets and more!

Inspiration~ Country Home Style

 

Do you have this magazine? It was a special publication of Country Home that was released in late summer. It isn't being sold anymore... The pages are WORN from me looking at it so many times.

I am hoping that Country Home will continue with these special publications because I loved this one so much. I miss Country Home since it went out of print... it was one of my very favorite magazines.

Some new Gems... and the scoop on the WoodWick Candles

I made some new gems for my jewelry shop today. These earrings are so pretty with faceted garnet beads... and some beautiful freshwater pearls.

 

 

and a few more pairs...

 

 

This pair has the softest shade of blush pink beading...  it is barely pink... love it with the champagne color pearls. All of the earrings are made with oxidized Sterling Silver wires.

 

 

Also made a few necklaces and a bracelet too..

 

 

 

 

 

 

This cameo is so pretty... it is a vintage celluloid cameo brooch that I have restyled into a pendant. Love the colors! It is truly so unique...

 

 

This one is called Sea Glass... doesn't it look like pieces of sea glass linked together??

 Some of you asked where I got the Wood Wick candle in my last post... Sorry for not answering you sooner in an email... I have been swamped with life. lol! I love these candles because they have a little wooden wick that sounds like a crackling fire when it burns! They smell wonderful too... I actually bought mine at Marshalls but I found out that they sell them at Hallmark & Bed Bath and Beyond too. Also you can google them if you want to find them online. Their correct name is WoodWick Candles. Hope that helps!

A Farm Basket

 

I bought this sweet flower basket at a local farm ... It is the best place. They sell produce, flowers, and they also have many activites for kids like petting animals and hayrides. My son wants to have his birthday party there coming up soon. I think it is going to be such a fun party to have!  I am thinking I will let the kids each pick out a small pumpkin to take home as their party favor.

 

Inside the market is a little gift shop where they sell the prettiest things! I loved the basket and had to bring it home.

 

 

My fall decorating isn't really much... I just like to add a few little things here and there. I found this hydrangea at Michaels and thought it was so pretty and very realistic looking!

 

 

 

 

I also found these fall branches there... they add a touch of color to this corner.

 

I also found the BEST candle in the whole world! Have you seen these candles that have the wooden wicks (they are called Wood Wick Candles) ? They crackle and sound like a soft little fire! This one is Apple Anjou and smells so good. It is such a great fall scent. If you happen to come across them... I can't tell you how much I love it. Don't you love burning candles when the weather starts getting chilly?

Online Classes

Hello there! Over the last year I have offered a few online classes and since the closing of my website I didn't have them available for purchase for awhile. I wanted to tell you that if you ever wanted to catch up on one of my classes they are over there on my sidebar now... ;) I am hoping to have a new Christmas workshop this year too...

This is the Le Petit Chandelier online workshop... you can learn to make one of these for yourself with no soldering involved! Price is $12.00

 

 

Christmas is coming in a very few short months so I am excited to dig out my supplies to make the Sweet Messengers of Christmas garland & wreath again... I really loved this project so much... price is $10.00

 

and as an added project I made these cute burlap stockings! love those...

 

 

 

and finally if you ever wanted to create a vintage style art journal, this class shows you how step by step along with all the images you need to create it.. price is $13.50
