For those of you that have followed my shop over the years you may have noticed that I have had nothing in it for months!! I needed a break. For those of you that operate online shops you know how much work it is to make things/ source things/ list/ photograph/ pack/ship.
During my little break I really thought about what I wanted to do with my shop... do I keep growing it, or let it go. I have never been good at keeping it stocked with merchandise so growing it bigger completely overwhelms me. I am kindof a hit or miss type of girl. It is all or nothing with me when it comes to creativity. I am either in a complete mess with stuff piled all around me creating to my hearts content... or there is nothing inspiring me at the moment.
So I have decided to close my shop and open an etsy shop where I will continue to sell things whenever I feel the need... and if it goes for a few months without anything in it then that is OK because I am not paying monthly etc. I feel so bad when I get emails saying "are you going to be listing anything new in your shop... lol?" It seems a little different with etsy and it is easier to fade in the background when you need to.
I am kindof excited about starting my etsy shop because I am going to have a brand new name for my shop! I will share the name just as soon as I get everything set up. I will still be keeping my blog right here where it has been, there won't be any changes to that.
The reason for all of the photos on this post is because I am making some jewelry to put in my new tiny little etsy shop. :) I am going to work on everything this weekend and get it all set up.
Also, I wanted to let those of you that signed up for my online classes know that nothing will change with those. You will still have access to them as much as you need and they aren't affected at all by this change. ;)
Thanks so much to all of you that have supported me over the years of having my online shop. I am so blessed to have such wonderful customers and friends.
xoxo Heather
