I have been really making a clean sweep with my house this past few months ... and the one thing I keep reminding myself over and over is "less is more Heather".
Just a few special pieces can add enough interest without tons of stuff piled up everywhere.
these few pieces seem to stand just fine all by themselves...
The less is more approach has always been a little hard for me, but I have to admit, I am being extremely firm with myself and only keeping what I truly love.
I have had a few of you inquire about my gray paint color.... I used Dolphin Fin by Behr paint. The vintage wallpaper in the window was my inspiration for the color I wanted. I will tell you though, if you are wanting to paint your room gray, it is such a weird color. The light changes it drastically all throughout the day and depending on how much light your room gets will change the color. I get a lot of natural light in my room so I think it picks up different colors depending on the time of day. Some times of the day it has a greenish hint... some times a bluish tint. I love love the color though. They have those little paint cans now that you can test different colors. I highly recommend those... they are a life saver!
