So I forgot to say about my new camera... I didn't buy it new. I had a friend who had a friend that was selling her camera equipment because she upgraded to a better model. Since I had been in the market for a new rebel camera this was a great way for me to try a dslr camera at a good price.. learn a little... and then when I am ready to upgrade to a better one I will actually know what I want to buy.
I decided that this is going to be the year that I follow my dreams a little more... and my dream for a long time now is to be a professional photographer. (It is a little scary to say my dreams out loud here on my blog.)
Baby steps...
I have no idea what I am doing with this new mac daddy..but it sure does take pretty pictures. The colors are fabulous.
I can't wait to learn a little more so I can switch it off of automatic mode... lol!
my living room is currently getting a little make over... you can spy the final gray paint color in the background. The one I shared a few days ago ended up being too purple.. this one is the winner. Atleast for this week..
Do you like my new pillows? The brown velvet one is from Wal Mart! I love it... and the blue ruffley one is from Marshalls. such a pretty blue. I couldn't have a room that didn't have SOME kind of blue in it. The linen cloth is actually a vintage tablecloth that I folded and draped over the chair. It is perfect in all its wrinkley~ness.
