Hello everyone. I am going to offer an online class with instructions on how to create this sweet little Christmas garland for your home.
It is beautiful hanging from a mantle... on an evergreen garland, on mirrors and cupboards, or even on your christmas tree! The materials are all inexpensive... and things you can find at your local craft store.
The class instructions will available starting on Thursday morning (December 3rd). The cost will be $10.00 and the instructions will remain available for viewing all season long so that you can make it at your convenience.... so really a no pressure class for you to enjoy relaxing and making yourself something beautiful this Christmas season.... or to make a few for gifts too. ;)
Every Christmas we decorate our homes with things such as garlands and wreaths... but I don't think we stop to remember what these beautiful ornaments symbolize. I created this garland with much thought to what it symbolizes.
People have been using wreaths as decorations for hundreds and hundreds of years. It is the symbol of eternal life... there is no beginning and no end.
The Christmas bells announce the joyful news of the birth of baby Jesus!
and of course, the doves are our sweet little messengers of eternal peace and love.
Isn't this ruffled wreath so pretty? I will teach you the technique I used to make this using something most of you probably have in your kitchen. (and no... not coffee filters) :))
I really do love all that this garland symbolizes .. so many traditions that people long ago used to celebrate the many blessings of Christmas.
